Brevard Creative Crawl: Free, self-guided studio tour lets you connect with local artists

The Brevard Creative Crawl welcomes art lovers inside the creative spaces of Brevard artists from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11. More than a dozen studios will open their doors for the self-guided tour.

“It gives visitors the chance to meet artists, see works in progress and discover the stories behind the art,” Esrock added.

Melbourne’s Galleria of Art & Photography, which opened this summer, is among the dozen studios open to the public.

“We hope to introduce the community to our new Galleria and to meet our nine exhibiting artists, as well as our two photographers,” said owner Rose Marie Capasso. “Our goal is to inspire others to enjoy the beauty of artwork and the joy of creating these artistic expressions through various materials.”

At Downtown Art Gallery in Titusville, artists Terry Cope, Ann Welly Revels and Gloria Brubaker will be sharing their creative techniques with guests.

“I think the Creative Crawl will be a wonderful opportunity for our community to see just how much talent we have right here in our own county,” said Heidi Thamert, who has operated the Titusville gallery with her husband and fellow photographer Jeff for 23 years.

“It gives art lovers a chance to connect with local artists in a meaningful way, while also providing artists with the visibility and support they need to thrive. Our artists are amazing!”
