If
we don't change, we don't grow. If we don't grow, we aren't
really living. Gail Sheehy

We
have changed our location, just 13 doors down, still in the Avenue,
Viera

Change
is good! And there are lots of changes going on at Art Gallery of
Viera. The biggest one is that we have moved! We are still in the
Avenue, but in a larger, yet more intimate location. Make sure you
come in soon and see the great new things that are happening!
The Art of Giving show was truly a success. My daughter, Melissa
Brooks, fighting Hodgkin's Lymphoma was amazed and thankful for
all of the artists (and patrons, too!) who donated and purchased
art for this event.
And
with change there is some sadness as I step down as Executive Director.
It has been such an honor serving the artists at Art Gallery of
Viera. They have all been like family to me. But my real family
needs me now. So graciously, J. Susan Cole Stone has taken the reins
as Executive Director. And we have a new addition! Rebecca Gomme
has joined the Board of Directors. I am staying as a member and
consultant to the board.
Make
sure you come in and see what the winds of change have produced
at Art Gallery of Viera. You won't be disappointed!
See you at the gallery,
Suzan Brooks

Beauty
saves. Beauty heals. Beauty motivates. Beauty unites. Beauty returns
us to our origins, and here lies the ultimate act of saving, of
healing, of overcoming dualism. Matthew

The
worth of a civilization or a culture is not valued in the terms
of its material wealth or military power, but by the quality and
achievements of its representative individuals - its philosophers,
its poets and its artists. Herbert
