Evening Glow

Art is fluid and ever changing, a reflection of our lives and our time. And so the medium I use to express a statement, a mood, or movement changes too. I use recycled materials, acrylics, metals, fabrics, fibers and other found treasures. Rusty metal, yard waste and even broken, discarded things speak to me. As an award winning artist, my job is to show the viewer how interestingly beautiful these things can be. I can't help myself, I walk through a parking lot and see the potential in a flattened soda can and I have to pick it up to see what I can create from it. I think recognizing these bits and pieces of our lives and being shown them in a very unique way is what draws people to my art.
